“You have a right to perform your prescribed duties, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your actions.”
— Bhagavad Gita 2.47

You have a right to perform your prescribed duties, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your actions.
📖 Bhagavad Gita 2.47
🕉️ Sanskrit (Correct Verse):
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥
📜 Transliteration:
karmaṇy-evādhikāras te mā phaleṣu kadācana
mā karma-phala-hetur bhūr mā te saṅgo ‘stv akarmaṇi
Krishna tells Arjuna — and each one of us — that we should perform our prescribed duties with full sincerity and responsibility, but without becoming attached to the outcome.
🙏 We are only responsible for our effort — not the results.
⚖️ Attachment to results leads to anxiety.
🕊️ Detachment leads to peace and devotion.
